- Humidity is a huge factor to consider before deciding where to install wall art. Installing canvas or mounted prints in bathrooms, or in any area that is prone to regular humidity and temperature changes is highly discouraged. Frequent changes in temperature and humdity will eventually cause warping or print damage.
- Installing wall art too close to frequently running heating and cooling vents can also result in damage over long periods of time.
- Direct sunlight that is shining through non-UV protected windows can eventually cause fading, or warping. In extreme cases, mounted prints can gradually separate from the mounting substrate. Prolonged exposure to UV light is always discouraged!
